A Celebration Of Our Universal Language
by Teresa Jennings
Music is truly the universal language, and we live in a time when the world needs all of the help it can get when it comes to communication. This all-school revue by Teresa Jennings is the ideal way to help your students explore the music of the world. While just these five songs make a very interesting program, they can ideally be used as a shell to highlight other multicultural music that your students are studying and performing.
Originally published as a part of Music K-8, Vol. 8, this exciting revue gives you everything you need to produce a successful performance with your school. The Teacher's Handbook features a Piano/Vocal part for each song as well as Reproducible Student Parts that come with full rights to reproduce as many copies as you need for all of your students. This handbook also includes a unique rhyming script that links the songs together as well as a Teacher's Guide, full of great hints to help your production from top to bottom. There are reproducible posters and program covers, and even a Resource Guide full of suggestions for other music to use with the production.
Aside from the stirring title song, this revue includes the student favorite "Listen To The Children," the memorable "Sounds All Around Us," the powerful "There Is Music," and the striking finale, "The Universal Language." And like all Plank Road Publishing products, it is fully guaranteed.
